 Description
The AC-Q42 is the first product of its
kind to incorporate the best features of stand-alone access control
systems in a single compact and attractive unit. The four main features
are listed below:
Versatile Security
Supporting up to 500 users, the controller features three modes
of operation for different security requirements which, in conjuction
with three user levels, allow security administrators to authorize different
levels of access to individual users through Proxiimity Cards or PIN
entries or a combination of both.
Programmablility
A programmable auxiliary input and auxiliary output with eight auxiliary
modes provides for a multitude of applications and installations. User-friendly
key sequences for programming make the task of learning the system's
operation simple and quick to absorb, eliminating the need to constantly
refer to user manuals for both end-users and installers. A "Code Search"
feature makes maintaining user codes easier.
Secure Housing
In addition to weather resistance, the AC-Q42's
die-cast metal housing provides vandal resistance and is strengthened
by an optical case and back tamper for both indoor and outdoor applications.
A security screw and tool included in the installation kit help
eliminate unauthorized entry to the controller.
Ease of Installation
A detailed user manual supported by a transparent mounting label and
removable terminal blocks makes for easy placement and trouble-free
wiring of the controller.
