IoProx™ Proximity Card Readers

With 6 ioProx readers to choose from, you will find one that is the solution for your application! Their attractive, compact and weatherized design makes them suitable for installation in various indoor and outdoor environments.

The ioProx reader electronics are vandal and weather resistant, and are encapsulated in epoxy potting. All readers have an integrated piezo buzzer and bicolor LED indicating system/reader status. Optional tamper switch and command button modules are available.

IoProx cards are dual-encoded, which means that they contain both XSF and 26-bit Wiegand formats. The same cards can therefore be used with both series of ioProx readers.

Command buttons

The P200 and P400 models of the ioProx readers are available with an optional command button module. These two pushbuttons are individual dry contacts with normally open and normally closed connections, rated at 500mA that work independently from the reader. For example, they can be connected to an alarm panel arming input to arm or disarm it. This button module provides other great possibilities for the end-user, such as activating a doorbell, etc.

Tamper switch

A tamper switch module is easily integrated to the P200, P300 or the P400 models.

Diagnostics

On reader power-up, an internal self-test routine checks and verifies the setup configuration, and initializes the reader operation.

Security

The readers recognize over 16.7 million unique codes. Using Kantech's KSF cards (Kantech Secure Format) provides increased security and absolute guarantee of no duplication of cards.

ShadowProx Proximity Card Readers

The SH-Y1, SH-Y2, SH-Y4 & SH-X5 proximity readers are the next generation of the popular ShadowProx™ line of proximity readers, cards, and tags. Sleek and contemporary styling allows for installation in the most prestigious locations.

Following the practical tradition of the ShadowProx™ line, these units are mountable on door mullions (SH-Y1), on walls, on single gang electrical boxes (SH-Y2) or on a single or double gang electrical box, as well as any flat surface (SH-Y4). The SH-X5 is designed for applications where maximum read range contributes to the convenience of the system; it is ideal for parking lots and other applications, such as concealment behind or within thick materials. For added style and convenience, they are more compact and will enhance both the interior and exterior decor of any professional environment.

Magnetic Stripe Readers

The POL-2 and POL-2KP magnetic stripe readers are the new generation of the popular POLARIS series. Packed with new features, the POLARIS-2 series provides the right combination of quality and reliability.

Star button

The "*" push-button on the POL-2KP is a dry contact with a 50mA power rating. It can be connected to an alarm panel or to an intercom's door call input, for example.

Output modes

The Polaris-2 provides you with four different configurable output modes (26-bit Wiegand, 34-bit Wiegand, ABA-Clock & Data and ABA-Wiegand), so that you can install the readers on existing systems. The different output modes are obtained by connecting the proper wires during installation, to program the reader. You can change modes simply by powering the reader down and rewiring it for the new mode.

Veriprox Fingerprint Reader

The Veriprox from Bioscrypt prevents unauthorized access via lost or stolen proximity cards by requiring that the fingerprint of the person requesting entry matches the identity of the cardholder.

This two-in-one solution combines a self-contained fingerprint verification package with an embedded IoProx proximity card reader. The two technologies are housed together in a modern case that conforms to mullion mount standards.

The reader stores thousands of templates, performs verification, and provides standard reader connection in XSF ioProx format (Extended Secure Format) or 26-bit Wiegand format.

The Veriprox is perfectly suited for applications where there is an existing IoProx reader system. The Veriprox reader will use existing cards, but will verify user identity through fingerprinting before allowing access.

KP-2500 & ES-KTP/103SN Keypads

The KP-2500 is a solid stainless steel weatherproof keypad combining outstanding appearance with tremendous resistance to abuse. The keypad contains no moving parts and uses a proprietary piezo electric technology ensuring that the keypad will perform reliably in even the most demanding environments. The one-piece design is rugged and compact, ideal for high traffic indoor and outdoor use. For maximum flexibility, two LEDs (red and green) are user programmable from the software and an annunciator beeps with each key press. KP-2500 is a BCD output and the ES-KTP/103SN is a 26-bit Wiegand output.
