Nurse/Emergency-Call Components

The BE005 and BE007 (6") surface bells are for use in general alarm applications and are U.L. Listed. They are primarily used in our CM800 series call systems.

The Alpha Communications® bell models BE005 and BE007 are for use in general alarm applications and are U.L. Listed. They are used primarily with our CM800 series emergency-call systems.

The bells produce a long, continuous ringing sound and feature low power drain and shock-proof construction. Each model is supplied complete with plate and is ideally suited for general alarm applications of medium ambient level.

Nurse/Emergency-Call Components

The IR019, IR019B and IR019C remote tone speakers provide for remote tone annunciator when connected to our CM800 or DS100 series annunciator units.

The IR019, IR019B and IR019C remote tone speakers provide for remote tone annunciator when connected directly in parallel with an Alpha Communications® CM800 or DS100 series annunciator and PK2019 control unit. The IR019 and IR019B tone speakers feature a momentary contact tone-off button for tone silencing. Depressing the tone-off button silences the tone at all sounding locations. When the emergency initiating device has been reset, the tone-off will automatically reset. The IR019B also includes a tone-off light which will remain illuminated while tone-silencing is enabled. The IR019C is used primarily as a remote stand-alone speaker and also with the NC300 nurse-call system in conjunction with the IR316 psychiatric call station. The IR019C is U.L. 1069 listed. All three models fit into a standard 2 gang electrical back box or 2 gang mounting ring.

  • Nurse/Emergency-Call Components

    The IR150N remote Staff Station is used with the NC150N & NC200N series nurse-call systems and the NC150R area of refuge emergency systems.

    The Alpha Communications® IR150N Staff Station may be used to provide communication between the Nurse Call Master Control Station (or Area of Refuge Master) and utility or examination rooms, kitchen, or any other remote (staff) location needed. A call button is provided to initiate calls and a reset button to cancel calls. A solid state call-placed indicator provides call assurance. A sensitive speaker microphone permits hands-free communication. The reliable solid state circuitry is mounted on a rugged extruded aluminum panel with black speaker grille.

    Nurse/Emergency-Call Components

    The IR151B and IR152B patient stations are used with the NC150N & NC200N series nurse-call systems. They can be used with the SF301/8 call cord set(s).


    The Alpha Communications® IR151B Patient Station provides for efficient use of the nursing staff by permitting fast and reliable audio communication between nurse and patient. Calling the nurse is accomplished by pressing the call button on the end of a 8 to 10 foot long callcord. A non-resettable call is registered if the call cord is accidentally removed from its jack. Call-placed assurance and intercom operation is indicated by reliable solid state LED indicator lamps. The speaker/microphone is sensitive enough to assure clear conversations even with weak patients. A call reset button is also provided on the rugged flame retardant type ABS White Plastic faceplate. Same specifications and features as the IR151B except that it includes two call cord jacks and two call-placed indicators for use with two patient beds (in close proximity to each other).

    The LI150B Duty Station provides remote indication of incoming calls in work areas away from the Nurse Call Master Control Station(s). The LI150B is U.L. Listed.

    The Alpha Communications® LI150B Duty Station provides remote indication of incoming calls in work areas away from the Nurse Call Master Control Station(s). Normal calls are indicated by a steady light and intermittent tone. Emergency calls take precedence and are indicated by a flashing solid state light and a pulsating tone. A "Tone-Off"switch permits silencing of the tone signal for normal calls only. Up to four (4) LI150B duty stations may be used with each PK151A master control unit (per system).

    Nurse/Emergency-Call Components

    Standard (non-supervised) 4-bulb corridor dome light. Primarily used with the NC300 series microprocessor nurse-call system. White, Red, Green, Yellow color lenses.

    The Alpha Communications® LI380 sectional corridor lamp provides visual indication of calls originating from patient, staff, duty, bath, emergency, presence, and code call stations. Patient priority and staff presence are indicated by RED, GREEN, YELLOW, and WHITE colored sections. When used with any room station or IR310B Staff Station, the LI380 will indicate all calls originated from that room. When used with the IR300B Multi-Purpose Station or the IR315B Duty Station, the LI380 may be used as a zone light to indicate all calls from the zones to which those stations are assigned.

    Nurse/Emergency-Call Components

    The LI381 (1-bulb) and LI382 (2-bulb) are conventional corridor dome lights that can be used with a variety of nurse-call and emergency-call systems, or stand-alone.

    The Alpha Communications®/Tektone LI381 corridor dome light (with single white bulb) and LI382 corridor zone lights (with white and red bulbs) provide visual indication of any type of call when used with a nurse-call, emergency-call, or for stand-alone signaling applications. When used with our NC110N, NC150N or NC200N series nurse-call systems, emergency calls are indicated by the rapid flashing of the LI381 corridor dome light associated with the calling station. Normal (routine) calls produce a steady illumination. The LI382 corridor zone light indicates an emergency call by the rapid flashing of the red lamp associated the zone or area from which an emergency call has been placed. Normal calls are indicated by a steady illumination of the white lamp. Both models mount on a standard 2-gang electrical back box and feature an easily removable white translucent cover for quick bulb replacement, without the use of any tools required.

    Nurse/Emergency-Call Components

    The SF100C patient stations are used with the NC110N series visual nurse-call system. They can be used with the SF301/8 (single) or SF302 (dual) call cord set(s).

    The Alpha Communications®/Tektone SF100C visual patient station includes a jack for the insertion of a model SF301/8 (single) or SF302 (dual) call cord set (or equivalent). The SF100C is used with the NC110N series visual nurse-call system only A call is registered at the annunciator panel and corridor light (and corridor zone light if installed) when the call cord button isused, or if the call cord is accidentally removed from the jack. The station includes a lighted 'CALL-PLACED' indicator when a call is placed and a 'CANCEL' button, mounted on a rugged ABS white plastic faceplate.

    Nurse/Emergency-Call Components

    The SF101C staff stations are used with the NC110N series visual nurse-call system. A momentary CALL button initiates the call and a CANCEL button cancels the call.

    The Alpha Communications® SF101C Staff Station incorporates push button operation of call and cancel functions. A call is registered at the annunciator panel and on a corridor light or corridor zone light (if installed) when the call switch with integral "CALL-PLACED" LED is pushed. The"CALL-PLACED" LED is also illuminated. Calls are cancelled simply by depressing the"CANCEL" button mounted on a rugged ABS plastic faceplate. The "CALL-PLACED" LED will also be extinguished.

    The SF151N emergency pull stations are used with the NC110N, NC150N and the NC200N series nurse-call systems. They have a built-in Call-Placed L.E.D.

    The Alpha Communications®/Tektone SF151N emergency pull station is used to initiate a system 'Emergency' signal. It may be used independently or connected with other call stations and/or intercom stations. It is used primarly with the NC110N, NC150N, NC150R or NC200N series nurse-call systems. Calling the nurse is accomplished by a pull on the six (6) foot nylon pull cord. This call cannot be canceled except at the point of origin. Sliding the slide switch to the 'UP' position cancels the call. The station includes a lighted 'CALL-PLACED' L.E.D. indicator. The SF151N station features a rugged stainless steel faceplate, with the word 'EMERGENCY' permanently stamped into the faceplate.

    The SF153N emergency push stations are used with the NC110N, NC150N and the NC200N series nurse-call systems. They have a built-in Call-Placed L.E.D.

    The Alpha Communications®/Tektone SF153N emergency push station is used to initiate a system 'Emergency' signal. It may be used independently or connected with other call stations and/or intercom stations. It is used primarly with the NC110N, NC150N, NC150R or NC200Nseries nurse-call systems. Calling the nurse is accomplished by depressing the push-button switch located at the center of the station to the 'IN' position. This call cannot be canceled except at the point of origin. Depressing the push-button again to the 'OUT' position cancels the call. The station includes a lighted 'CALL-PLACED' L.E.D. indicator. The SF153N station features a rugged stainless steel faceplate, with the word 'EMERGENCY' permanently stamped into the faceplate.

    The SF301 (single) and SF302 (double) call-cords can be used with a variety of calling stations that use a cord with a 1/4" male type phono plug assembly.

    The Alpha Communications® SF301/8 (single) or SF302 (double) call cords are specifically designed to be used with the NC110N, NC150N, NC200N, NC205 and NC300 Nurse-Call systems, on bed stations utilizing 1/4" phono jacks. The SF301/8 cord features an 8 foot long cord, and the SF302 features twin 6 foot cord lengths. A wide variety of optional call cords are also available for specialty applications such as oxygen tents, geriatric use, and air-call. Ten foot cords are also available in single (SF301/10) and double (SF302/10) cord styles.

    Nurse/Emergency-Call Components

    The SF301G (single) and SF302G (double) call-cords can be used with a variety of calling stations that use a cord with a 1/4" male type phono plug assembly.

    The Alpha Communications® SF301G and SF302G 'Geriatric' call cords are for use with various model patient stations in Alpha Communications® nurse call systems, including the model SF100C, SF102, IR151B, IR151N, IR152B, IR152N, IR251, IR252, IR255, IR256, IR301B, and IR302B stations. The call cord plug is inserted into the receptacle located on the patient station, providing for call placement to the system master station(s). SF301G and SF302G call cords are specifically designed for use in geriatric and oxygen environments but may be used in general applications also. To place a call, the patient need only apply slight pressure to the squeeze bulb using any body part. The force of air through the vinyl tubing closes a switch in the plug, thus placing a call. An adjustable bed clip is supplied for the SF301G attached to each call cord. Two (2) adjustable bed clips are supplied for the SF302G.
